1. How long have you been working for Glenda Jackson?
Since February 2005

2. What’s the best thing about working in Parliament? And what is the worst?          
The beautiful building is the best, the worst is probably the fact that we had a leak in the office roof last week - and not for the first time! 

3. How did you first get interested in politics?
I grew up in Oldham, in the North West and was always convinced that all people should be given support and opportunities regardless of how much money they have. The Labour Party shared those ideals, so I joined.

4. List three political issues close to your heart.
Trident and nuclear power, child poverty and the new deal.

5. What is your favourite Glenda Jackson film?  
 Queen Elizabeth R partly admittedly because of the amazing costumes,  partly because Glenda actually rides side saddle in it, and partly because she's so good at sounding stern in it!
