Glenda calls on men to join stem cell register and save lives

Headshot White BackgroundAnthony Noland are in the midst of a campaign to recuit another 5000 young healthy men onto the stem cell donor register.

The campaign was begun earlier in 2011 with an initial plea for 10,000 men to join the register, but there is still need for another 5000 men. They have until the end of November to recruit another 5000 potentail lifesavers.

Every year 16000 patients in Britain come to us in need of a stem cell transplant. These people have Leukemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma or a range of other diseases. A stem call transplant - also known as a bone marrow transplant - is these patient's only change of life, yet we can only find a matching donor for half of them.

If you are interested in becoming a donor and helping save lives, please visit www.anthonynolan.org/mp and enter the code GRA3.
