The Government have agreed to enter into a formal funding agreement for a new Academy in Camden, in Adelaide Road. It will be called University College London Academy, Camden. The funding agreement is a crucial step in taking forward the project from an exciting idea to a real school. The Academy is planned to open in September 2011. It will be a co-educational school catering for 900 (11-16-year-olds) and 250 in over 16-year-olds group. The Academy will specialise in science and mathematics.
