Child and Working Tax Credits in Hampstead and Highgate
Recently, Glenda tabled a question asking the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many children in Hampstead and Highgate have been and are currently in households in receipt of child and working tax credits. On 3 December, Stephen Timms MP replied and indicated that the statistics are available online at http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/stats/personal-tax-credits/cwtc-geog-apr09.pdf . The statistics indicate that approximately 5,600 families are in receipt of child and working tax credits in Hampstead and Highgate.
