We have been informed recently that Hampstead Heath station is to be moved from Zone 3 to Zone 2 effective from this month (January 08). This will reduce many local fares, and will restore the station to the zone it was in prior to privitisation in 1996. The decision will be welcomed by our constituents for whom the existing zone of the station has been an issue of some significance since the changes of over a decade ago.

Passengers are are now able to use Oyster Pay As You Go as part of the new London Overground service.  All 54 stations on the Overground, including Hmapstead Heath, have been fitted with Oyster ticket vending machines which went live towards the end of last year.
