Glenda has recently done some research into the situation with regards to families receiving working tax credits and benefits.  Our figures show that there are 17,200 children in families who are receiving working tax credit - nearly a third of these children are under five years old, and then a third between 5 and 10 years old, and then the last thirs between 11 and 16 years old.

Glenda is surprised by the low number of people claiming working tax credit, and encourages her constituents to find out if they are eligible to claim this credit.
