2007 Primary School Achievement and Attainment Tables

School ChildrenWe have been informed by Rt Hon Ed Balls MP, the Secretary of State, that the 2007 Primary School (Key Stage 2) Achievement and Attainment Tables were published on 6th December 07.

The Tables show the Key stage 2 results for each state primary school.  This year's tables include a new KS1-KS2 'contextual value added' measure.  This measure enables comparison of the progress made by pupils from the end of KS1 to the end of KS2, but it also allows for factors which are outside the school's control (such as gender, mobility and levels of deprivation).  Therefore, it allows a more realistic reflection of a school's progress, and replaces the 'old' KS1 - KS2 measures which were based on prior attainment only.

The Tables, should any of our constituents be interested, are available at www.dcsf.gov.uk/performancetables where there is an option to list schools according to our Hampstead and Highgate constituency.
